Speaker Hubbard: Overtuning state’s gay-marriage ban ‘outrageous’ [via Facebook]
Mike Hubbard is wrong, again. The state of Alabama’s marriage bans were an unconscionable government intrusion into Alabamian’s private lives and consensual marital arrangements (for example, in this case severely interfering with a married couple’s ability to arrange for their own child’s care), and however limited this ruling, I am immensely glad to say that for the last 24 hours I have been living in a state freed of the dead weight of such discriminatory laws.
