From a course syllabus I received this semester: “All out of class assignments must be typed, double-spaced, using 12-pont Times New Roman (or an equivalent) font, and submitted in hard copy.” Someone please help. What is “an equivalent” font to Times New Roman? What does “equivalent font” even mean in this context?
