Just read a story in our student newspaper stating that an art project was going to be shipped to an international art program’s “hedquarters in the Azores Islands off the coast of Portugal.” Strictly speaking I guess you could say that’s an accurate description, in that if you set sail from Portugal and steer in the right direction, you will eventually reach the Azores. In much the same way that Guam is “off the coast of the United States,” or the Falklands/Malvinas are “off the coast of Great Britain.”
