So I am working on transcribing an article against the Klan from one of the issues of Edward Fulton’s magazine of many names (here, The Egoist) and the article is focusing a lot of discussion on the Oklahoma Klan and the governor’s declaration of martial law. Yhe article is in 1925, so I am *assuming* he means the declaration of martial law in 1923? Anyway, Oklahoma people: Any suggestions on background readings that I might do to get a decent overview picture of events around this time?
