Police forces really are institutionally pretty damned racist and violent against women, people of color, and sex workers. (Of course, the cops had *no* reason at all to presume that she was a sex worker, other than an appalling and presumptuously racist reaction to an interracial couple. But then, even if she *were* a sex worker, and even if the LAPD knew this, it would also still be presumptuous, inhumane and utterly tyrannical to accost and restrain her for kissing a willing client.
