Things I enjoy: when I post a brief historical note on the role of Mexican street-food vendors in early 20th century labor culture, and jokingly sub-title this brief note “Mexican food as revolutionary praxis.” Then it gets posted to /r/Anarchism and one of the /r/Anarchists, taking this entirely literally, responds with indignation that “food-based activism” is such a silly idea, & who would be dumb enough to suggest you can become “a super awesome activist because I can handle my chilies” . . . .
