From Peaceful Streets Project: “In the wake of the #MichaelBrown murder in #Ferguson, I think we should consider what changes we can help affect through coordinated, direct action tactics. What can you do to mobilize your communities? Can you set up cop watches, know your rights trainings and engage in charity to help those who are vulnerable to #policeabuse. “Do we need another Michael Brown before this movement goes national? Do we need another Eric Garner (NYC), Oscar Grant (Oakland), Jose Guerena (Tucson), Kelly Thomas (Fullerton, CA), Erik Scott (Las Vegas), Larry Eugene Jackson, Jr. (Austin), or any other of the tens of thousands of other innocents killed by police?”
