Jeff Sessions is one of the worst people in the United States. Of course it is true that people are not commodities. They’re not papers or nationalities or legal statuses either. If you are destroying people’s families and livelihood because you’ve got a citizen buddy who needs a job and you don’t care how many “aliens” you hurt in the process of helping him out and you don’t care how incredibly invasive and violent against human lives and livelihoods and families the political means you’re using may be, well, you’re the asshole here, and you’re the one who needs reminding that people are people.
