Black Power Mixtape 1967 – 1975. The contemporary interviews run over the action a bit too much, and the footage is definitely shaped by whatever random things Swedish documentary crews happened to be interested in in black American communities at any given point over an 8 year period (so, e.g., we lurch from the trial of Angela Davis to a long, muddled section of early 70s anti-drug panic stories). Doesn’t matter. See it anyway; for the footage of Stokeley Carmichael, Angela Davis and Lewis H. Michaux, if nothing else.
